Treyvon Martin Media Frenzy

Today I want to talk about the much publicized Trayvon Martin case.
It seems like everywhere I look left and right there are people for and against the verdict recently handed down by an all women jury of not guilty. There are howls calling for the head of George Zimmerman even though our court of law and its judicial system found him not guilty.

Black Panthers, NAACP, Facebook groups like Justice for Trayvon, this group, that group blah blah blah. Where is the civility in all this? Why did we politicize a tragic event such as this? This story did not get the sudden push it did until our beloved (Snark) President stated "If I had a son he would look just like Trayvon Martin." For what reason if any did he feel he could weigh in and interject himself onto a case without having heard the facts or seen any evidence?

Soon after we get Reverend White and Al Sharpton thrown into the mix and the media goes into a frenzy. What better story than to race bait? Like sharks smelling blood in the water the media lunges forward and wreaks havoc, their sharp teeth ripping and shredding any chance of demonstrating a second narrative much less the innocence of George Zimmerman himself.

MSNBC then proceeds to air edited audio making it seem as if the killing was racially motivated (Proof of editing shown Here) adding more fuel to the fire. Since when does Al Sharpton wield so much power as to control and spin the media narrative into an all out race war? Why are Americans so gullible as to hop onto a bandwagon speeding down a hill with winding roads, twists and turns with no one operating the steering wheel? It seems like this everywhere now, uninformed Americans just going with what other people say, hence the battered shape our country is in now.

Nobody was talking about Trayvon Martin and his track record of vandalism or the fact that he was 6'1 weighing approx 175 lbs and more than capable of tossing an average male like a rag doll. Nobody was talking about the drug user who had been caught tagging school property and caught with stolen jewelry along with a breaking and entering tool in his backpack months prior. Instead we saw a picture of a baby looking Martin that was found with a bag of skittles and a lighter in his pocket the day of the incident.

As I sat and watched the court proceedings take place I could not help but shake my head as testimony after testimony just kept giving Zimmerman the reason of a doubt needed for him to be exonerated. I mean come on "I can hear wet grass" testimony? Even with the Obama Administration, the Department of Justice, and NAACP leaning on the judge in charge of the case, there was nothing proving that Zimmerman acted in anything but his own self defense. The circus of idiocy on behalf of the prosecution literally made a mockery of our courts and the legal system proving this case should have not gone to trial at all.

Should George Zimmerman have been charged with something? More than likely something should of have come up for disobeying the 911 operators instructions. Stalking and following Trayvon trying to act like Sheriff Steven Seagal was not the right answer, but then again what was the right answer?  Once the politicizing started and other entities became involved the state got a little overzealous and went for the maximum on everything. Could have been a different story if they started from the bottom and tried to impose stricter sentencing after something managed to stick.

Where do we go from here? I for one am ashamed at the conduct of the American people that are calling for and placing bounties on this man's head. In all his infinite wisdom President Obama has released a statement asking for people to remain calm, reflective of the decision and to be peaceful. Kind of a stupid and late move coming from the same man that fueled the flames of race and hate by interjecting himself onto this case in its early stages.

Now Department of justice has come out and said it will review the Trayvon Martin - George Zimmerman case. The irony of it all is that we have a Criminal in contempt by the name of Eric Holder leading the investigation against someone declared innocent in a court of law. This my friends is what we call a political agenda. For what purpose does it serve to make this man's life a living hell? What happens when DOJ gets a conviction? Notice I did not say IF but WHEN due to the thuggish tactics of the Obama Administration when it comes to saving face.

I guess only time will tell my friends, I hope for the sake of Both Trayvon Martin may he rest in peace and George Zimmerman this case gets left alone and both families can return to some type of normal. Something tells me not to get my hopes up....

One for me, none for you, two for me, none for you....
